A Notice From FUSION GOL

Dear Customers,

FUSION GOL Monthly Newsletter - July 2009

Firstly we'd like to thank all of our current subscribers for the continuing use of our services and for taking the time to read our newsletter. This month we are providing information about updating your details with FUSION GOL when changing address and the software PamFax, which allows you to send faxes using your computer.

Changing Address

If you are planning on moving and you’re concerned about the setup of your internet line at your new address, please feel free to contact FUSION GOL. We can help organize the installation of the line with NTT at your new address and contact you to confirm the date and time an engineer can be sent out. All we need in order to do this is your name, your new address, your contact number and email address and what type of service you would like to use.

It will usually take about 1-2 days to check the location and find out what is available but if you are moving to an apartment building, we can check this the same day. Once we have confirmed if your desired service type is available, it will usually take up to 10 working days before an engineer can be sent to your address to setup the line, depending on how busy NTT are at the time. Please take this into consideration when you are planning on changing address.

We want to ensure that the move to your new home is as smooth as possible and that you experience the minimum amount of downtime. Please feel free to contact us at anytime to discuss changes to your details and what services are available to you.

The use of fax machines is still very common in Japan and sending letters, documents and other items by fax can become a problem when you are without access to a fax machine at home or even at the workplace. FUSION GOL would therefore like to introduce our users to the PamFax software which enables you to send out documents from your computer using your Skype credit.

Skype has been an incredibly useful tool for expats living in Japan, allowing free international calls between Skype accounts and cheap calls between the Skype software and regular landlines. With the PamFax software, you can now use your existing Skype credit to send faxes for as little as 12yen! Take into account that you no would no longer need to use a fax machine or a phone line for it and the costs can reduce dramatically.

If you are not currently using Skype, it is still possible to use the PamFax software. This can be downloaded via their website and credit can be purchased directly through them. If you’re interested in using the PamFax software, more information about it can be found at the following website - http://www.pamfax.biz/100.html

We’d also like to mention that previously sent newsletters can now be found on our website here - http://www.gol.com/en/biz/maintenance/topics_backnumber.html.

In the meantime, should you have any questions regarding the information in this newsletter or anything else in the future, please feel free to contact us by phone or by email.
