AIR-EDGE (pronounced “air edge”) is a proprietary wireless connection service that allows for convenient mobile Internet usage on your notebook, or PDA (standard desktop machines can also be used).
A variety of AIR-EDGE plans, including unlimited usage, are available to meet your needs.? Most AIR-EDGE connection devices will support WILLCOM's 1x and 4x connectivty systems while some may support the newer 8x connectivity as well. There are also devices that support a "Flexchange" communication system that enables automatic switching between 32Kbps (when data transmission is low or idle) and 64Kbps (when data transmission is more intense).
The service area covers most of Japan so that you can benefit from wireless Internet access on the go.
