Service Benefits

  • AIR-EDGE (pronounced "air edge") is a proprietary wireless connection service that allows convenient mobile Internet usage on your notebook or PDA. (Standard desktop machines can also be used.)

  • A variety of AIR-EDGE plans, including unlimited usage, are available to meet your needs. Most AIR-EDGE connection devices will support WILLCOM's 1x and 4x connectivity systems while some may support the newer 8x connectivity as well. There are also devices that support a "Flexchange" communication system that enables automatic switching between 32Kbps (when data transmission is low or idle) and 64Kbps (when data transmission is more intense).

  • The service area covers most of Japan so that you can benefit from wireless Internet access on the go.
